Question by hugo: Is it the Law that your wages must go in to a bank account?
I read this in the news today about the scenario of banks losing their claims regarding unfair bank charges: “Members of the industry have also warned that losing the case is likely to lead to the end of free banking in the UK, with consumers instead having to pay a monthly fee or a fee for every transaction they carry out.”
Who is going to want to do that? Do we have to have a bank account?
How would you pay tax if you didn’t have a bank account?

No. You don’t have to deposit any amount of money, you can cash the entire check if you feel like.
